**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Carbon Services professional to join our team as Associate Director for Carbon Services. In this role, you will develop and manage the carbon services offering within the wider ESG Corporate Services Business Unit.

As a commercial lead, you will provide support and direction to deliver projects to the required quality and drive business growth and development activities. You will be an expert point of reference on technical delivery and establish strong relationships with clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Act as carbon subject matter expert for the UK market
  • Lead the definition of current and future market trends, drivers, and service offerings for carbon services
  • Develop and implement proactive Go-to-Market programs to achieve ambitious commercial growth
  • Provide tender responses to client requests for work and input into large bids through the Bid Support Team
  • Maintain awareness of current carbon trends, legislation, national and international standards, and guidelines
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Support, mentor, and lead team members
  • Deliver projects to budget and required quality

**Requirements**

  • Candidates should be well-established in the carbon consultancy industry, working at Principal Consultant or Associate Director level
  • Relevant first degree (environmental, engineering, sustainability) and higher degree desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven business development skills
  • Well-established professional network
  • Team management experience
  • Membership of professional institutes, such as CIBSE
  • Highly developed project management skills
  • Evidence of successful management of large multifaceted projects in the sustainability field
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel/VBA/R advantageous

**Salary Range:** £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
