About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Defence Strategy & Performance Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the sales and delivery of projects across the defence sector, working closely with Partners to develop and execute business development strategies and deliver high-impact strategy and transformation projects to C-suite executives in defence contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead opportunity development and conversion, and design and delivery of engagements to meet client needs
• Develop and lead practice development initiatives, including thought leadership and external networking
• Motivate, mentor, and develop project team members and appraisees
• Build and maintain a strong external and internal network

Requirements

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and develop outstanding client relationships
• Substantial experience of selling and delivering high-impact strategy and transformation projects to C-suite executives in defence contractors
• A demonstrable network of senior client contacts and a deep understanding of defence organisations' strategy, structure, and stakeholder dynamics
• Strong problem-solving skills, including numerical capabilities and commercial acumen, with excellent written English and oral communication skills
• Experience of leading complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams and high-value business development activities
• Strong values consistent with KPMG values, guiding the way you do business, interact, and lead teams
