About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Director to join our Defence Strategy and Performance Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading sales and delivery of projects across the defence sector, working closely with Partners to develop and deliver strategic advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of strategic advice to defence clients, working closely with Partners and other team members

• Develop and maintain a strong network of senior client contacts and stakeholders in the defence sector

• Collaborate with other teams within KPMG to deliver integrated solutions to our clients

• Develop and lead practice development initiatives to drive growth and innovation in the defence sector

• Mentor and develop project team members and appraisees to ensure their success and growth within the firm

Requirements

• Substantial experience of selling and delivering high-impact strategy and transformation projects to the C-suite in defence contractors

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and develop outstanding client relationships

• A deep understanding of defence organisations' strategy, structure, and stakeholder dynamics

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver insightful recommendations and solutions

• Experience of leading complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams and a track record of developing and mentoring team members
