Business Development Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Stoneseed team as a New Business Consultant. As a key member of our sales and recruitment team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the recruitment industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a business development strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Grow your desk by achieving and exceeding individual and team targets for revenue generation and placements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and developments in the recruitment and hiring landscape
- Provide exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates at all stages of the recruitment process
We are looking for a self-starter and team player with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have a desire to succeed and be comfortable with cold calling prospective clients and using lead generation tools.
Requirements- Current or previous business development experience in the recruitment industry, specific experience of the IT services sector would be beneficial
- Proven and tangible evidence of winning business and developing and nurturing client relationships
- Solid experience of working within a team environment and understanding when and where to call upon the expertise of the wider Stoneseed community
- Must be comfortable with cold calling prospective clients and using lead generation tools (e.g. LinkedIn and CRM)
- Demonstrable experience of managing and growing a sales pipeline and the relating stages of the sales cycle
