Business Development Consultant

Hours: 37.5 per week, 5 days a week
Salary Range: £30,000-£32,000 Basic + Open Ended Commission Plan
About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a New Business Consultant Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the recruitment industry.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Development: Identify and prospect potential new clients to grow our business and expand our client base.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong connections with key decision-makers to ensure exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships.
- Revenue Generation and Placements: Achieve and exceed individual and team targets for revenue generation and placements, growing your desk and contributing to the company's success.
- Candidate Resourcing: Work alongside the current team to source and attract top talent for our clients' contract and permanent positions.
- Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and developments in the recruitment and hiring landscape to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
We are looking for a self-starter and team player with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have a desire to succeed, a solid understanding of the recruitment industry, and a comprehensive knowledge of the full range of recruitment offerings/solutions.
Key skills required include:
- Current or previous business development experience in the recruitment industry, with specific experience of the IT services sector being beneficial.
- Proven and tangible evidence of winning business and developing and nurturing client relationships.
- Solid experience of working within a team environment and understanding when and where to call upon the expertise of the wider Stoneseed community.
- Comfortable with cold calling prospective clients and using lead generation tools (e.g. LinkedIn and CRM).
- Demonstrable experience of managing and growing a sales pipeline and the relating stages of the sales cycle.
