About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our senior management team at Homecarers Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care services to our service users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in the delivery of a safe and efficient service, ensuring compliance with CQC guidelines and legislation. You will also be responsible for continuously improving processes and standards, working closely with the HCL team and external bodies to achieve 'outstanding' on CQC inspections.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting the Registered Manager in the delivery of a high-quality, safe service for all service users.
  2. Managing the Branch service office, ensuring all aspects of care delivery are met promptly, effectively, and to a high standard.
  3. Working with the Registered Managers, Service Co-ordinators, ECM team, and Domiciliary care staff to ensure compliance with CQC guidelines and legislation.
  4. Continuously improving processes and standards, working closely with the HCL team and external bodies to achieve 'outstanding' on CQC inspections.
  5. Ensuring the Health & Safety Policy is understood and implemented, maintaining compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to a level 3 (or above) in health and social care.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working with internal teams and external agencies to deliver solutions.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • A team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Able to make decisions and judgements based on factual evidence.
  • Understanding of operational delivery of care within a home care sector, including assessment of standards, need for confidentiality, and person-centred care.
  • Able to manage a range of different activities and focuses, managing your time to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
