Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Assistant to join our Legal and Compliance Department in Weybridge, Surrey. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our compliance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the development and maintenance of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program, including conducting customer due diligence checks and implementing Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
- Provide compliance support to our IS&T, Risk & Corporate Finance teams, ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
- Perform due diligence checks on new and existing counterparties to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of our compliance policies, including our Code of Conduct and compliance registers.
- Assist with the management of our raising concerns hotline, Gifts and Entertainment register, and conflicts of interest register.
- Provide training and support to our employees on compliance-related matters, including GDPR.
- 2 years of experience in AML compliance.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapt to business needs.
- Interest in process improvement and implementation of change.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Oil industry experience is an advantage.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
