Sovereign Strategy Ltd is a Public Affairs Consultancy that provides bespoke advice to governments and FTSE 100 businesses worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Events Coordinator to join our London team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events, developing marketing strategies, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve company and client objectives. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in a related field, excellent communication skills, and strong organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage events from start to finish, including logistics, administration, and reporting.
  2. Design and implement marketing strategies for Sovereign Strategy, focusing on branding and social media presence.
  3. Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives on project planning and execution.
  4. Lead the development of annual and client events, ensuring alignment with company and client goals.
  5. Collaborate with the wider team to create effective event and project management strategies.
  6. Manage event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  7. Cultivate and execute Sovereign Strategy's social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Requirements:
  1. Experience as an Events/Project Manager in a political consulting firm, NGO, or corporate business, preferably within a political environment nationally or globally.
  2. Proficient use of event/project management tools and methodologies.
  3. Proficiency in using and monitoring social media platforms.
  4. Demonstrable ability to lead through complex priorities, working with stakeholders to ensure strategic coherence and identify creative solutions.
  5. Ability to travel for work outside the United Kingdom on occasion for event delivery.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary dependent upon experience: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
