Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead our construction team in delivering a major project for Anglian Water.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction team to ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with the development consent order.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop the construction team to create industry-leading construction techniques.
  2. Ensure the coordination of and communication between all parts of the project team, including Suppliers, Contractors, Engineering, Safety, and Environmental teams, and Clients' teams.
  3. Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, Project Management Team, Design Team, and all key stakeholders to deliver best value solutions.
  4. Develop new ways of working to reduce carbon, increase biodiversity, address climate change, and embrace innovations and new digital technologies.
  5. Assist in the appointment of specialist contractors and management of the specialist contractors team contracts to cost, time, quality, and safety requirements.
  6. Manage the creation of the project's pre-construction information and ensure all members of the team are aware of their responsibilities.
  7. Manage the production and coordination of the construction programme, Employers and Customers Requirements, and deliverables schedule throughout the project.
  8. Monitor and report on construction progress on a weekly and monthly basis, including taking action to maintain construction delivery to time, cost, drive efficiencies, quality, and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Competence with digital tools.
  • Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management (SMSTS minimum).
