About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all construction technical matters and queries as a junction between our MEP consultant engineers, framework contractors, and construction oversight partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all internal pre-construction investment steering groups and working group meetings to assist internal stakeholders with all MEP matters in a clear, concise, and jargon-free manner.
- Manage all construction technical matters and queries as a junction between our MEP consultant engineers, framework contractors, and construction oversight partners.
- Dealing with incident management within the group's key data centres and critical buildings.
- Attend alternating project construction meetings to support our framework contractors when required.
- Manage construction aspects to ensure the site environment, health & safety, wellbeing, quality, and commissioning of the project is reported in a timely manner.
- Identify and mitigate embedded MEP services that impose a risk to project timeline and quality.
Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor's degree in a property, engineering, or construction-related field.
- MEP related construction experience essential with a focus on project management.
- Knowledge of building safety legislation, building standards, construction contracts, and health and safety requirements essential.
- Experience of working with common construction software preferred (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, Document Management Portals).
- Experience and knowledge of sustainability pledges and the impact on the design and implementation of M&E systems.
