We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at a specialized college for students with complex needs and severe to profound multiple learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and resilient support to students, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist with personal and intimate care needs.
- Set clear boundaries and foster a nurturing environment while maintaining strong professional boundaries.
Requirements:
- Recent experience working with young people with ASD or similar needs.
- A background in mentoring or teaching with an understanding of Therapeutic Education.
- Ability to set clear boundaries while providing compassionate support.
- A current enhanced DBS check and full compliance to work in the UK.

About the Role:
This full-time role is based in a classroom setting and is scheduled to commence in September. The successful candidate will work with a small class of 6-10 pupils, supporting students aged 16-25 with severe and complex needs. The role requires the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, offering both support and guidance, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary therapy team to deliver effective learning and care.
