Job Title: SEN Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at a Specialist SEN School in Brent. The successful candidate will work with children aged 11-19 with a range of special educational needs, including severe learning difficulties, mild learning difficulties, and profound multiple learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in therapy sessions, sensory activities, and learning in the classroom and playground
  • Work with pupils who have special needs such as Autism, Down syndrome, Epilepsy, Physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments
  • Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced leadership team, teaching staff, and therapists to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment

The school is an OFSTED-rated Outstanding School, offering a warm and welcoming environment for young people with special educational needs. The school has good local transport links and parking.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people with special needs
  • Passion for supporting pupils with complex needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
