Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wantage, Oxfordshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children in a classroom setting, supporting their social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with children in the classroom setting
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Working with students one to one
  • Acting as a positive role model to students
  • Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a teaching or support role
  • A positive attitude and ability to engage children in and out of the classroom
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
  • A can-do positive attitude and willingness to learn
