About the Role:


We are seeking a talented SEN educator to join our team at New Barn School. As a dedicated SEN instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects and developing individual education plans for our pupils.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Teaching a varied range of subjects
  • Preparing, planning, and assessing teaching sessions
  • Writing and implementing individual education plans
  • Building relationships with pupils and encouraging their interest and participation in their education
  • Creating a stimulating and purposeful environment for teaching and learning

Requirements:



  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of working with Autistic pupils and a willingness to teach students of all ages
  • A therapeutic approach to teaching and learning
  • A broad understanding of current education issues and curriculum developments
