Financial Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. As a Sales Ledger and Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments from customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage invoices: Code, batch, and enter service invoices into Sage; import sales invoices via Smartvision and Micro Sage.
- Process receipts: Import daily bank statements and reconcile receipts against accounts; prepare weekly receipts forecasts.
- Credit control: Contact customers regarding overdue accounts; resolve queries and manage credit arrangements.
- Financial reporting: Prepare inter-company figures and input data into Excel reports; process monthly expenses and customer refunds.
- Support and coverage: Assist with purchase ledger duties and cover for colleagues during absences.
