Job Summary Position: Sales Ledger/Credit Controller Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 37 per week (Mon - Thurs 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fri 8:30am to 1:30pm) Salary: £24,205 Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan Company Type: Manufacturing (Breathalysers)Looking for a Local Candidate ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic finance team Key Responsibilities:Invoice Management: Code, batch, and enter service invoices into Sage; import sales invoices via Smartvision and Micro Sage.Receipts Processing: Import daily bank statements and reconcile receipts against accounts; prepare weekly receipts forecasts.Credit Control: Contact customers regarding overdue accounts; resolve queries and manage credit arrangements.Financial Reporting: Prepare inter-company figures and input data into Excel reports; process monthly expenses and customer refunds.Support & Coverage: Assist with purchase ledger duties and cover for colleagues during absences.SkillsStrong understanding of Sales ledger & Credit Control processesAccuracy, excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a small friendly teamAbility to meet deadlinesGood analytic skills and the ability to interpret financial informationStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with suppliers, auditors and internal departments.Good work ethicGood knowledge of excel Brook Street NMR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
