Airport Culinary Specialist

A role where you can bring your passion for food. Our Chef at Sodexo Group in the UK will work under the guidance of the head chef and be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Purpose of the role: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications.
- Menu planning and recipe development: Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
- Team management: Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Compliance: Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
- Kitchen maintenance: Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised.
Your skills and experience:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent at least 2 years plus working as a chef.
- Working under pressure: Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary skills: Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking.
- Communication: Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
