Career OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Leader to join our team at Devonshire House in Sudbury. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of meals to our residents.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with experience of leading a team and managing resources effectively. You will also have a good understanding of health and safety procedures and be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, working in a beautiful historic building with extensive grounds. Our residents enjoy a range of activities and events, and we take pride in providing a welcoming and inclusive environment.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals and exceptional customer service
- Maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Managing resources effectively, including stock control and inventory management
You will also be expected to work closely with other departments, including dietary and hospitality, to ensure seamless delivery of our services.

- A competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
