Experienced Housekeeper Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced housekeeper to join our team at a prestigious country estate in North Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the large manor home, which includes 9 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, and a separate outdoor pool and tennis court.
The ideal candidate will be self-starting, respectful, and flexible, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. A driver's license is essential due to the location of the role, and occasional driving to the train station or airport may be required.
The housekeeper will be required to travel to our chalet in Switzerland on occasion to prepare the property, care for our dogs, and assist with meal preparation and serving. Time off will be given in lieu of days missed during these trips.
We offer a competitive salary of £45-50k gross per annum, depending on experience, and a 2-bedroom apartment in the stable block adjacent to the main house. The role is 5 days per week, including weekends, up to 40-45 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the manor home
- Assisting with meal preparation and serving
- Caring for our dogs and assisting with their walking
- Traveling to our chalet in Switzerland to prepare the property and assist with meal preparation and serving
- Performing light household administration tasks
