Electrical Site Operations Lead

Are you an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a skilled professional to lead electrical site operations in Edinburgh on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have a background in HVDC (Converter stations and cables), electricity infrastructure, substations and cables or general linear civils (road, rail etc). The role involves supporting preconstruction survey works and main construction civil works for cable and converter station installation/build.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work as a key team member and report to the appointed Project Manager.
  2. Monitor all site activities on behalf of Client, advising the Project Manager on any programme or risk issues.
  3. Prepare weekly site reports to document progress for each contractor.
  4. Conduct weekly site safety audits and address any issues promptly.
  5. Liaise with the land & Planning team to ensure grantor requirements are met.

Annual Salary: £70,000, dependent on experience. Our estimates suggest a salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per year.

This contract position is based in Edinburgh, with initial assignments in the city. The successful candidate will work on various sites in East Lothian & Fife, requiring regular travel to our main offices in Edinburgh Park.

Essential Requirements: Proven experience with SP Transmission projects or other Electricity network operators; valid driving license and vehicle access for site travel.

This role ensures that site operations meet quality, environmental, and technical standards.
