Electrical Infrastructure Specialist UK

Rentavis UK Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering activities for our 4 floating offshore wind projects in Scotland.
About the Role
This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of offshore wind projects across the UK. As EPM, you will oversee the entire electrical system design, including SCADA, export transmission systems, and onshore infrastructure. You will also manage external consultants and contractors to deliver specific electrical engineering work.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the concept, design, and delivery of the electrical infrastructure (including SCADA) for the UK floating offshore windfarms.
- Oversee the entire electrical system design covering the offshore inter-array system, export transmission system, and onshore infrastructure.
- Ensure safety by design in electrical engineering decisions, along with general H&S management of the team.
- Manage external engineering consultants to deliver specific electrical engineering work.
Requirements
- Chartered electrical engineer with degree qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Proven track record in leading electrical packages and management of consultants and contractors for delivery against time and budget critical scopes of works.
- Significant experience of delivering Renewable Energy projects, especially offshore wind.
- Significant HV Electrical experience, including power plant, grid connection, earthing, protection, switchgear, power-electronics, power systems design, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the offshore wind industry.
Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum
