Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our Security Event Management (SEM) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Splunk's infrastructure, deployment, and data integration with a strong emphasis on security and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Infrastructure and Application teams to align security and event applications with predetermined SOC use cases that provide the intelligence necessary for investigations.
  • Collaborate with the Security Strategy team to onboard identified applications across all Business Units (BU), providing direction and guidance to the Business when difficulties arise with streaming events into the SIEM.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in managing and configuring Splunk Infrastructure deployment methodology, including single-instance and distributed deployments based on organisational needs.
  • Strong understanding of Splunk Deployment and Cluster management, optimising performance and scalability across the enterprise.
  • Ensure accurate source typing and data categorisation within Splunk.
Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary from £50,880 to £63,600, depending on their experience. We also offer a non-contributory pension between 8-12%, discretionary bonus, 34 days' leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time), and private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave, and lifestyle benefits.
