Human Made, makers of Altis DXP, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Lead to build and operate the cloud hosting platform underpinning Altis Cloud. This position requires strong technical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-availability web infrastructure.

This role involves collaborating with the Product team to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with other systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly services like EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, ALB, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, Security Groups, IAM, ASG, and ECS.

The Cloud Infrastructure Lead will work closely with the development team to automate tasks and optimize the use of cloud resources. Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and containerized platforms (Docker and ECS) is highly desirable.

A strong understanding of Linux system administration and version control systems is also required. The ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders is essential for success in this role.

As a senior member of the team, the Cloud Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-availability web infrastructure on AWS

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices

**Requirements:**

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Excellent communication skills
