Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Palmers Green

Teach Now is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team in a one-form entry primary school in Palmers Green. This long-term, full-time role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and assessing SEN pupils, developing and implementing effective behavioral management strategies, and creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and be able to work collaboratively with multi-professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and assess SEN pupils to ensure they receive the support they need to succeed
  • Develop and implement effective behavioral management strategies to promote positive behavior and reduce challenging behavior
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Support students with SEN to access the curriculum and participate in lessons
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure they are informed about their child's progress
