About The Company:

OCS UK & Ireland, part of the OCS Group, is a leading facilities management company providing a range of both standalone and integrated services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to work with all departments to resolve compliance issues, provide recommendations, and communicate the status of action resolution, whilst tracking corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily product quality inspections to ensure that customer expectations are met.
  • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment policies and procedures are adhered to by all on site.
  • Carry out on-the-job training relating to Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment as necessary.
  • Continuously coach all relevant employees in Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment in best practice standards.
  • Participate in the site risk assessment programme.
  • Organise Estates visits and report building issues.
  • Carry out daily site inspections to monitor compliance with all legal and best practice standards relating to the role.
  • Carry out Active Monitoring site inspections and record and report any findings as necessary.
  • Coordinate housekeeping of all areas and continuously monitor compliance to best practice.
  • Undertake administration tasks relating to Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment.
  • Ensure that Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment documentation is accurately produced, and records are maintained.
  • Motivate the team so that Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environment targets are exceeded, and they are involved in the continuous improvement process.
  • Communicate and support OCS trainers to ensure that areas of concern are developed into training programmes. Evaluate training.
  • Book training, maintain training files and Matrices.
  • Work closely with the teams to resolve compliance issues, provide recommendations, communicate the status of action resolution, and bring to management issues that require attention tracking corrective actions.
Health & Safety / Compliance Objectives:
  1. Communicate regularly with staff through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas and that morale remains high.
  2. Undertake regular site and service inspections and audit all working equipment and identify areas of non-compliance to Health & Safety and Quality Standards and take actions where required daily.
  3. Manage the safety performance of all Personnel and sub-contractors and take appropriate action for any breaches.
  4. Work closely with the quality Manager to ensure the quality of standards, processes, and procedures and support.
  5. Embrace the OCS company values in all aspects of your work ensuring a positive culture is adhered to.
  6. Think safety-first management approach with strong motivational and team-building skills.
  7. Good computer skills.
  8. Focused on achieving results in providing a quality service. Flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently.
About The Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position working on a variable shift rota any days between Monday to Sunday, 06:00 to 23:00, 40 hours per week. The Compliance Officer will work with all departments to resolve compliance issues, provide recommendations, and communicate the status of action resolution, whilst tracking corrective actions.
