Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Emergency Response Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and emergency response of our clients and staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety and emergency response strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Lead and manage a team of emergency responders to provide high-quality services and ensure the safety of clients and staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of safety and emergency response strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in safety and emergency response management, with a strong understanding of UK fire, medical, and security standards, regulations, and legislation.
  • Strong commercial experience, managing service contracts, budgets, and P&Ls.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex work streams to emergency deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative to maintain high standards.
