About the Role

The Senior Development Research Officer plays a vital role in the University's fundraising operation, reporting to the Development Research Manager. This position is accountable for providing accurate and appropriate information relating to potential and current donors, high net worth individuals, corporations, and charitable foundations worldwide.

The focus of this role is on researching and prospecting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) for transformational philanthropy fundraisers, providing research and insight for fundraisers and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in this core area of the 200th anniversary campaign.

Working with colleagues, the University's programme of identification and analysis of potential donors will be deployed and refined, with systems to support the documentation and management of such potential donors and suggesting tailored strategies to reach and engage such donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and prospect ultra-high-net-worth individuals for transformational philanthropy fundraisers.
  • Provide research and insight for fundraisers and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Deploy and refine systems to support the documentation and management of potential donors.
  • Suggest tailored strategies to reach and engage potential donors.
