Senior Development Research Officer

About the Role
The University of Manchester is seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Research Officer to join our fundraising operation. As a key member of the Development Research Team, you will be responsible for researching and prospecting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) for our transformational philanthropy fundraisers.
You will work closely with colleagues to identify and analyze potential donors, deploying and refining systems to support the documentation and management of such potential donors. Your expertise will be crucial in suggesting tailored strategies to reach and engage these donors.
As a Senior Development Research Officer, you will also play an important part in gift acceptance due diligence and have responsibility for developing an effective workload management system for the Research Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and prospect ultra-high-net-worth individuals for transformational philanthropy fundraisers.
- Work with colleagues to identify and analyze potential donors.
- Deploy and refine systems to support the documentation and management of potential donors.
- Suggest tailored strategies to reach and engage potential donors.
- Play an important part in gift acceptance due diligence.
- Develop an effective workload management system for the Research Team.
