Skillset Requirements

To succeed in this Behaviour Learning Support Assistant role, you will need experience supporting children within educational settings, preferably in similar roles such as Behaviour LSAs or SEN TAs/Behaviour Mentors/Teaching Assistants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Offer individualized support to post-16 students with complex needs.
  • Assist students in achieving their academic goals by providing targeted support.
  • Enhance students' emotional and social well-being through focused support.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to student support.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures, emphasizing safeguarding and confidentiality.
