About the Role

iQ Student Accommodation is a leading provider of student accommodation in the UK, offering a unique and supportive environment for our 34,000 students across 85 sites in 29 cities.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and optimization across our portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement pricing and yield strategies that maximize revenue and ensure we remain competitive in the market.

You will work closely with our Operations and Asset Management teams to define local competitor sets, analyze market trends, and provide data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions. Your expertise will help us ensure that our rooms are priced correctly, both in terms of level of demand and local competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pricing and yield strategies that maximize revenue and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Asset Management teams to define local competitor sets and analyze market trends.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and ensure that our rooms are priced correctly.
  • Work with the Partnerships team to develop pricing strategies for prospective university nomination deals.
  • Maintain and distribute weekly reporting to the Exec and Investors in a timely fashion.
  • Develop new ways of working with Operational and HQ stakeholders to find efficiencies and creative outcomes from daily business challenges.
  • Use data available from reservation channels to identify areas of opportunity for improvement in overall leasing performance.

Requirements:

  • Highly numerate and comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written communication abilities.
  • Science/Maths-based degree, or substantive and relevant numbers-focused experience in full-time employment.
