About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced practitioner to join our team as an Integrated Offender Health Specialist. The successful candidate will work within our Health and Justice service, supporting individuals with complex needs and vulnerabilities in the criminal justice system.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for assessing and intervening with individuals who have diverse needs, including those in custody, court, community, and prisons. They will work closely with health and social care professionals to develop and implement care and support plans, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary treatment and support to reduce the risk of reoffending.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree or diploma in a field such as nursing, occupational therapy, or social work. They will have experience working with complex clients and be able to work independently, assessing and formulating care and support plans. The post holder will also be expected to provide consultation, support, and clinical supervision to other health and social care professionals within the service.
