At Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Education Professional to support the primary schools across North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
As a Teaching Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, implementing lesson plans, and adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and ensure a safe learning environment, following the school's behaviour policies.
- Lesson Delivery: Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of the students.
- Student Engagement: Motivate and engage students in learning activities, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assessment: Administer tests, quizzes, and assignments as required, providing feedback and reporting on student progress.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of attendance, student performance, and any incidents that occur during the day.
- Communication: Collaborate with other teachers and school staff, communicating effectively with students and parents as needed.
