Tooling Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Design Engineer to join our team in Witney. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tooling design and commissioning solutions to support our growth plans.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in machinery and tooling design, with experience in tooling design and manufacture, design of injection mould tools, and design for manufacturability (DFM). They will also have a good understanding of factory design and manufacturing processes, as well as plastic injection moulding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop tooling solutions to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth tooling design and commissioning processes
  • Develop and maintain tooling design standards and best practices
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve tooling design quality

Requirements:

  • Relevant machinery and tooling design qualifications
  • Tooling design and manufacture experience
  • Design of injection mould tools
  • Design for manufacturability (DFM)
  • Factory design and manufacturing processes
  • Plastic injection moulding
