SEN Classroom Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Stratford, London. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one and group support to students with learning difficulties, working closely with teachers and the SENCo to implement individual learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them engage with the curriculum.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social and emotional learning.
- Work alongside class teachers and the SENCo to implement learning plans, monitoring progress and providing feedback.
- Support students with a range of learning needs, adapting your approach to meet individual requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to working with children.
- A clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.
