Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Professional to join our team as a Healthcare Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and providing administrative support to our healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient appointments: Process outpatient appointments with patients by telephone in line with the PAP, including informing patients of any changes or cancellations to their appointment and re-booking their appointment if required.
  • Manage patient data: Be responsible for the accurate entry of data to computerized databases, using all computer systems relevant to the role.
  • Communicate effectively: Check incoming email inbox(s) daily to keep up to date with departmental and Trust-wide news and information. Escalate patient queries, complaints, capacity problems, and general issues to the role's line manager or relevant clinical staff as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths. Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
  • Clerical and administrative experience: Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception. Experience of dealing with the public, both on the telephone and in person.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum is offered, plus benefits.
