The Role

As an Area Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to grow and maintain the company's market share within the Gloucestershire area. You'll be building relationships with new and existing clients, selling a range of powered access products and services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identifying new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Nurturing relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Presenting product demonstrations and offering tailored access solutions to meet client needs.
  • Working closely with internal teams, including operations and technical support, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and the latest product innovations.
The Person

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in sales, ideally within the powered access or related industry. You should be a self-starter with strong negotiation skills and a passion for exceeding targets. Key requirements include:

  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in the powered access or plant hire sector.
  • A good understanding of the Gloucestershire market and its customer base.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Full UK driving license.
