Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Sprinkler Engineer to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client expectations, delivering projects efficiently and profitably, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage client relationships, deliver projects on time and within budget, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to clients, engineers, and other stakeholders, and ensure that all projects meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all projects are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, and that all personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders, and ensure that all project information is accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: GCSE in Maths and English, Mechanical engineering qualification, NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management, CSCS Construction Skills Card, and Health and Safety Qualification.
  • Experience: Experience of construction project engineering or management, experience within sprinkler or water mist suppression project engineering or management, and knowledge of current relevant suppression British Standards and Regulations.
  • Skills: Ability to manage client and management expectations, ability to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations, excellent oral and written communication skills, and competent using Microsoft Office packages.
