Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Sprinkler Engineer to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the installation of sprinkler and water mist systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the installation of sprinkler and water mist systems, including coordinating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Financial Control: Assume full financial control of projects, including responsibility for raising purchase and subcontract orders.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Technical Skills: Possess excellent technical skills, including the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and plans.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: GCSE in Maths and English, Mechanical engineering qualification, NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management, CSCS Construction Skills Card, Health and Safety Qualification.
  • Experience: Experience of construction project engineering or management, experience within sprinkler or water mist suppression project engineering or management.
  • Skills: Ability to manage client and management expectations, ability to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations, excellent oral and written communication skills, competent using Microsoft Office packages.
