Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Sprinkler Engineer to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the installation of sprinkler and water mist suppression systems, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the installation of sprinkler and water mist suppression systems, including the coordination of site work and the management of subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and engineers to ensure that project requirements are met and that the installation meets the necessary standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure that the installation is progressing as planned and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Prepare and submit reports to clients and management, highlighting project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that they are aware of project requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage project finances, including the preparation of budgets and the monitoring of expenditure.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience of managing the installation of sprinkler and water mist suppression systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel within the UK and Europe as required.
