Job Title: Part-Time Teacher

About the Role:

Snapology is seeking a part-time teacher to join our team. As an after-school instructor, you will work with children in a group setting, providing educational and fun activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience working with children or education degree
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule:

The flexible schedule can include weekday classes between 12-6pm and/or weekend events between 10-6pm. Minimum availability of 3 days per week is required.

Compensation:

$22-$28 per hour, depending on experience, education, reliability, and hours worked.

Locations:

We are looking for teachers to instruct classes in multiple locations including Auburndale, Needham, Boston, Newton, Brookline, Norwood, Cambridge, Wellesley, Canton, Weston, Chestnut Hill, Westwood, and Dedham.

Programs:

  • Weekday availability needed during school hours in the afternoon
  • Weekday after-school and/or evening classes
  • Weekend workshops and/or birthday parties
  • Summer enrichment camps
  • Special events, holidays, and break workshops
