Job Title: Electrical Team Leader - Crane Maintenance

At Liberty Speciality Steels, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to lead our Crane Maintenance team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our crane maintenance operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our equipment and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled electrical technicians in the maintenance and repair of cranes and other heavy machinery
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with section engineers to plan and execute maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed

Requirements:

  • Recognized electrical engineering apprenticeship (HNC or equivalent)
  • Sound plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems
  • Self-starting and driven individual with leadership skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Working Pattern:

This role is 8-hour day shifts, including weekend work, with days off in the week.
