About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our team at LIBERTY Steel Group. As an Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen in all aspects of the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians in the maintenance and repair of industrial systems
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements
  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship (HNC or equivalent)
  • Sound plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems
  • Self-starting driven individual capable of leading a small team
  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault find any issues to root cause and front line rectification
