Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 6 payroll administrators, providing training and coaching to ensure high standards of work quality and organisational performance are achieved. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Responsible for all payroll-related mergers and acquisitions.
- Maintaining and improving payroll setup and internal audit processes.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements, including PAYE, P11D, etc.
- Meeting auto-enrolment obligations for Umbrella and Payroll Bureau.
This is a senior role within the senior management team, involved in strategic planning for business success.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
