Technical Maintenance Engineer Position Available

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of technical maintenance and support services for ICT systems in schools across Staffordshire.

About the Role
  • As a Technical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical maintenance and support for ICT systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • You will also be involved in larger installations in schools, working closely with project teams to ensure timely completion.
  • Reactive IT support is an essential aspect of this role, requiring effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation and research are crucial in this position, as you will need to develop and maintain documentation for development projects and procedures.
Key Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • A strong interest in IT and a willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills
  • Desirable: relevant qualifications in IT, such as GCSE or A-Level equivalents
  • Term-time-only work arrangement acceptable
  • Valid full UK driving license and access to own vehicle required
