Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Maintenance Engineer to join our team at GE Aviation. This role will involve working on client sites across the UK and Ireland, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and quality.

The successful candidate will have experience in HV plant and transformers, disconnectors, and earth switches. They will also have knowledge of substation primary plant construction and installation techniques, as well as substation secondary wireman experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting safe working practices, delivering projects efficiently, and ensuring integrity and quality of product installation, repair, commissioning, and maintenance. You will also investigate site visits to establish and report on equipment condition monitoring and equipment failure.

A key aspect of this role is effective management and supervision of staff to execute projects in line with client and GE expectations, programmes, and budget. Accurate on-site records, reports, and quality documentation are essential in this position.

We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are comfortable working at heights and confined spaces, and happy to travel extensively across the UK and possibly overseas, we encourage you to apply.
