Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND teaching assistant to provide 1-2-1 autism support to children in a thriving primary school in the Leeds area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on a 1-2-1 basis with children with autism to provide tailored support and guidance.
  • Supporting students with challenging behaviours to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Delivering small group work and intervention support to meet the individual needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Previous experience working with SEND children, particularly those with autism.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a comprehensive support package.
  • Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
