Job Summary

Southwark Council is seeking a dedicated Child and Family Support Coordinator to join our SEND team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people with EHCPs and ensuring that their needs are met. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a good understanding of SEND legislation and the EHCP process.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with families, schools, and partner agencies to provide coordinated and effective support to children and young people with SEND. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing school placements and supporting families throughout the process.
  • Participating in annual reviews to monitor the progress of children and young people with SEND.

This is a full-time, permanent position (36 hours per week) that offers a competitive salary range of £41,580 - £47,628.
