About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Manager to lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across three UK-based facilities. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EHS strategies, ensuring compliance with UK health and safety regulations, and collaborating with our global EHS team to align local practices with international standards.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs tailored to each site's operations
- Conduct regular site risk assessments, focusing on key hazards such as noise, dust levels, temperature, and manual handling weight limits
- Investigate all accidents, near-misses, and incidents to identify root causes and develop preventative measures

EHS Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in line with UK regulations and industry best practices
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement

Safety Training & Awareness
- Deliver EHS training to employees, including toolbox talks, emergency response training, and hazard awareness
- Promote a culture of safety and encourage proactive reporting of hazards and near-misses

Data & Compliance Management
- Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, training, and incidents
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental permits, licenses, and reporting requirements

Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Proven track record in an EHS management role, ideally within manufacturing or warehousing environments
- Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and standards, with expertise in risk assessments, accident investigations, and hazard control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees across all levels
- Ability to adapt to and align with global EHS frameworks
