Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will work closely with the Community Paediatricians and Diagnostic pathway navigators to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to ASC diagnosis.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in conducting high-quality SALT assessments, making recommendations for children and their families, and collaborating with MDTs to ensure seamless care coordination. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of a specialist speech and language assessment service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive SALT assessments and diagnostic services for children with social communication difficulties/autistic spectrum disorders.">
  • Work autonomously as a highly specialist SLT, providing specialist speech and language assessments for children with diverse needs and varying presentations.">
  • Making appropriate and evidence-based recommendations for children and their families.">
  • Communicating effectively with children, families, and professionals, monitoring progress during multidisciplinary care.">
  • Providing comprehensive feedback to stakeholders.">
