About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Highly Specialist Speech and Language Professional to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism, possess excellent communication and liaison skills, and be able to work autonomously as a highly specialist SLT.

The role involves providing a highly specialist SALT assessment service for children aged 0-16 referred to the Community Paediatric team. You will work collaboratively with the Community Paediatricians and the Diagnostic pathway navigators to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to ASC diagnosis.

As an employee of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will receive excellent peer support from our Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Team in CCICP, and have opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities
  1. To work collaboratively with the Community Paediatricians and the Diagnostic pathway navigators to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to ASC diagnosis.
  2. To make appropriate and evidence-based recommendations for children and their families.

Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
